And Baby Makes Three!

It’s hard for me to actually believe that we are pregnant again! And I think this time it’s a keeper! The first twelve weeks have been a little nerve-wracking worrying about every little thing. Although it’s been reassuring that I’ve had a pretty hefty dose of morning sickness.  We’ve been followed very closely by specialists because of my miscarriage history and because of the lupus, which also means we have loads of beautiful pictures of our baby-to-be!

I’m being followed by a high risk ob in Maternal Fetal Medicine. They did a large amount of baseline tests including repeating my 24 hour urine test to see if lupus is affecting my kidneys- and right now- things LOOK GOOD! The list of things that can go wrong in a lupus pregnancy is very long, but I’m going to focus on all the things that are going right.

I haven’t done any quilting (or cleaning or cooking) since I’ve been pregnant, because I just honestly feel too rotten. I’m hoping that as I get farther along I will be able to get back to my normal routine. And maybe even make a baby quilt for us! (I’ve never actually kept anything I’ve made…)

Baby is due July 27th, 2013.
