Teegan’s Onesie Quilt

This is a super late post. I’ve been meaning to take pictures of this finish for a LONG time.  I finally finished Teegan’s quilt made with his baby clothes. This quilt was made similarly to Mila’s, but instead of 5 inch squares I cut 4 inch squares. I stabilized the knits with a lightweight iron-on interfacing.  I wanted this quilt to also be more fluffy so I actually used a polyester batting (rather than my go-to cotton batting).  I did straight line quilting between squares to not take away from the onesies.

I did zigzag binding again, which I TOTALLY love. I think I’m a lifelong converter. And I attached my new logo tag with a zigzag stitch. On the back I used a simple flannel material, it’s so cozy.

It’s one of my favorite quilts because every square reminds me of something he wore and it brings me right back…

Can you find the polar bear?

  1. Newest baby quilt is precious!
The binding is the part I always dread – Can you give some instructions?
Hope your health is doing okay. How ’bout an update on that, as well?
